Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar emphasized the importance of skill education in a time where job opportunities are abundant but skilled labor is scarce. He acknowledged that the government alone cannot provide education and jobs to everyone, and thus the services offered by institutions like Suttur Math and other Maths in the state are invaluable. The educational institutions established by Suttur Srimath have significantly benefited rural students, and JSS College, in particular, provides various skill-based courses. Prof. G. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary of JSS MVP, delivered the presidential address, praising the vision of Jagadguru Sri Rajendra Mahaswamiji and the remarkable services provided by Srimath in the fields of arts, literature, spirituality, social work, healthcare, and more. He acknowledged the current pontiff’s efforts in further strengthening the institution. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, JSS Institutions have continued to function effectively and organized. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath urged students to adapt to future changes and overcome challenges through higher education, emphasizing the need to utilize their strengths optimally.
In his introductory speech, Prof. B.V. Sambashivaiah, Chief Executive of the College Complex, encouraged students to make full use of the college facilities and strive to excel academically, becoming responsible citizens of the country.
