Sutturu, Dec. 21, 2020: His Holiness Adijagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji’s Jatra Mahotsav which was scheduled to be held from February 8 to 13, 2021 has been cancelled due to Corona-19 pandemic.
As a result of this all the programmes including Rathotsava, Theppotsava, Kondotsava, other Utsavs, Prabhath Peri Lakshadeepotsava, Jangamotsava, Guru Brahmotsava, Exhibition, Krishi Mela, Boat ride, Desi games, Wrestling competition, Cultural Mela, Religious Meet, Agriculture Seminars, Bhajana Mela, Mass Marriage, Cattle Fair, Drawing Competition, Chitrasanthe, Quiz, Rangoli Competition, Sobane Pada competition, Kite competition, presentations by cultural teams, Rural Drama, Crackers, Shops, Mahadasoha have been cancelled.
Special poojas will be held at all the shrines and temples in the Srimath premises on February 9 evening. The rathotsava, theppotsava and other poojas will be conducted as per the traditions, symbolically. There will be live telecast of all the programmes.
Hence, all the devotees and general public are requested to watch the live programme and avoid coming to the Srimath. Links of all the live programmes will be provided.
A meeting to discuss about the 35th death anniversary programme of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji and Jatra Mahotsav was held at Suttur Srikshetra. His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji graced the occasion and gave his blessings.
