About JSS College of Pharmacy, Jammu
The College of Pharmacy was established in the academic year 2022-23 at Najwal, Vijaypur of Jammu. The college aims to impart knowledge, skills, and competencies in pharmaceutical sciences to the students of the UT of J&K and its neighbouring region. The college is affiliated with Jammu University and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Programs Offered:
Bachelor of Pharmacy
Qualification to obtain admission: The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent.
Duration of the Program:
The course of study for B. Pharm shall extend over eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be as prescribed from time to time by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
Diploma in Pharmacy
Qualification: The candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination with P.C.M and or P.C.B/P.C.M.B. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Duration of the Program:
The course of study for D. Pharm shall extend for two academic years.
