About JSS College of Pharmacy, Noida
JSS Mahavidyapeetha has set its leadership role in Pharmacy Education and Research with pharmacy colleges in Mysuru and Ooty. To carry forward the legacy and to cater to the needs of students of the northern part of India, the management of JSS Mahavidyapeetha has established the College of Pharmacy on the campus of JSSATE, Noida. The college is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
Courses offered:
Bachelor of Pharmacy – 4-year degree program
First Year B. Pharmacy
Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B/P.C.M.B) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Second Year B. Pharm (Lateral Entry to Third Semester)
A pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The course of study for B. Pharm shall extend over eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be as prescribed from time to time by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
DIPLOMA OF PHARMACY – 2 YEARS DIPLOMA PROGRAM
First Year D. Pharmacy
Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination with P.C.M and or P.C.B/P.C.M.B. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The course of study for D. Pharm shall extend for two academic years.
