Admission is offered to 8th, 9th and 10th classes as per the rules laid by the government of Karnataka. The medium of instruction is Kannada. The academic year starts in the last week of May every year.
Here, co-curricular activities and sports go hand in hand with academics. Music, dance, drama, painting, debate, and other art forms are encouraged, and our students actively participate in inter-school and intra-school competitions. Indoor and outdoor sporting materials are provided. Training is given in volleyball, ball badminton, hand ball, cricket, and badminton. Special band-set training is also provided to the children.

About Us
Ummathur is a small village in the Chamarajanagara district. Till 1982, the children of this region had to walk kilometres to reach the high school. Observing this, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji established a High school in the year 1982.
Initially, the school was run in a house. Later, it was moved to the Inspection Bungalow and it settled in the new building in the year 2008-09. The school has a well-structured building, with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, a science laboratory, a computer lab and other basic facilities. The school aims to promote the overall personality development of the students by instilling social, spiritual and ethical values.
