We follow the curriculum laid by Karnataka School Examinations and Assessment Board (KSEAB).
Admission is provided to class 8th, 9th, and 10th standards. The academic year starts from June month every year.
The school is amid lush green thus creating a conducive atmosphere for the students. The school has well-ventilated classrooms with proper seating arrangements, a well-stocked library, a science laboratory, an IT lab, sporting materials and other basic amenities required for the students.
National and annual fests are celebrated in full swing. Our students participate in Pratibha Karanji cultural events, taluk, district, state, and national level sports. We encourage our students to attend NTSE and NMMS examinations and thus increase their competitive spirit.
The students take part in Sports Meet which is conducted as a part of the Annual Suttur Jathra Mahothsava. They also participate in zonal, taluk and district-level sports competitions.
In the Academic year 2022-23, our school secured 97% results in SSLC State Exam.

About Us
JSS High School situated in Gowdahalli village was established in the year 1981. Gowdahalli village is 10 km away from Yalandur in Chamarajanagara district. We believe that the betterment of society happens with knowledge. It is essential to educate the rural folks to bring an equilibrium in society. We aim at providing value-integrated education and our dedicated faculty guide our students to develop a better attitude and personality.
