About Us

Years after the establishment of primary school, a High school was started at Giriyabhovipalya in 1992. The school has been concentrating on the overall development of the students by imparting spiritual, ethical, and moral values. The school also has good infrastructure that helps for the healthy growth of the children. We have well experienced and qualified teachers who focus on the development of the children. The infrastructure of the school includes spacious classrooms and playground, a well-equipped science laboratory, a modern computer lab, a library with around 500 books related to subjects, literature, science, and spiritualty necessary sporting materials and other basic facilities.

Academic and Admission

Admission is offered to the students of 8th, 9th and 10th classes. Fee collection and procedures of admission are according to the Government norms. The medium of instruction is Kannada. The academic year starts in the last week of May.

Activities

Students are encouraged to actively take part in arts, sports, creative activities etc. Our children get ample opportunities throughout the year to explore and showcase their hidden talents. Programmes and competitions are conducted in the school during National fests, annual fest and on other important fests. Our students also participate in Pratibha Karanji competitions and competitions organized as a part of Annual Suttur Jatra Mahotsav. Science and art exhibition are also held in our school every year.
