About Us

Talavadi is a taluk in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu with rural masses. JSS Mahavidyapeetha established a matriculation school in the year 2004 to educate rural children. The school is located on Thalamalai Road, Talavadi. We aim at imparting quality education and empowering the rural masses and thereby supporting the development of the nation.

Our school has good infrastructure, well-ventilated classrooms, a spacious playground, a well-stocked library, five school vans, a modern science, and IT Lab. Our highly experienced teachers help with the overall personal development of the students. Since 2013-14, our school is gaining 100 per cent results in SSLC examinations.

Academic & Admission

The school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Fees are collected as per the rules laid by the Government of Tamil Nadu
Admission is provided to the students from LKG to class 10^th.
The medium of instruction is in English.
The academic year starts in the month of June.

Achievements

Around 30 students from our school attended Indian Talent Olympiad. Among them Miss. Preethi R of 10^th standard won 7^th rank at the state level and won Rs.700 scholarship.
Neha L and Miss. Madhu Shree received the Excellence Medal Award.

Activities

Extra-curricular activities are given equal importance to academics. Here, dance, music, creative arts, and drama are encouraged. Students participate in inter-school and district-level competitions. We also provide sporting materials and students are trained in sports like Kho-Kho, athletics, volleyball, throw ball etc.
