Academic and Admission

Admission is offered to classes 8, 9 and 10. Students are admitted based on a first-come, first-served basis. The academic year starts in the last week of May.

Extra-curricular activities go hand in hand with academics. We celebrate national festivals and other days of importance, in which students participate enthusiastically. Our students also take part in Pratibha Karanji competitions, inter-school competitions and even in competitions organised during Suttur Jatra Mahotsav. Sports training given to the students, in which boys are trained in cricket and girls trained in volleyball. Every year, we organise arts and science exhibition at our school.

About Us

JSS Shishunala Shariff High School was established on 1^st June 1993 at Udayagiri, Mysuru with the blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. The school is situated in Udayagiri (Mahadevapura Layout) which is just 4 km away from Mysuru city.

The school, which started with only 25 students now houses more than 169 students. Our school is running in a well-structured building with spacious classrooms. Our school possesses an excellent library with books related to subjects, literature, and general knowledge. A modern computer lab, an equipped science laboratory, sporting materials and other necessary facilities. Our highly experienced and qualified teachers lay a firm foundation on which the students build their future. So far, we have produced many talents who are working in multinational companies and government sectors. JSSMVP runs a High School and a Pre- University College in Udayagiri.

Result: In the year 2021-22 the result of the 10^th Standard is 98%.
