Academic and Admission

Admission is offered to the students of classes 8^th,9^th, 10^th standard as per the instructions of the Government.
The medium of instruction is Kannada.
Admissions are made in the month of May as per the rules laid by Govt. of Karnataka

Co-curricular activities are a vital part of the academics. Here, arts and sports are conducted weekly. Students get a number of opportunities to showcase their talent throughout the year. Sporting materials are available, and students are coached in volleyball, throw ball, Kho-Kho, and others. Science and art exhibition are conducted every year.

About Us

JSS High School, Horeyala was established in the year 1992 with the blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. The school was started with the aim to impart quality education to the rural mass. We aim to provide value-integrated education and our highly experienced faculties give attention to each student and guide them to pursue their areas of interest.

The school is located in a pleasant environment with good facilities. The infrastructure of the school includes a well-designed building, spacious classrooms, a well-equipped science laboratory and computer lab, a fine library, sporting materials and other basic amenities.
