- Admission is offered to the classes 8th, 9th, and 10th as per the rules of the government. Admissions are also offered under the Right to Education Act.
- The academic year begins in the last week of May every year.
- The medium of instruction is Kannada.
Co-curricular activities are an important part of the curriculum. Here, arts, music, dance, drama, sports, and other cultural activities are encouraged. Students get the opportunity to participate in cultural activities throughout the year. The last period of every Friday is dedicated to cultural activities. Students are encouraged to regularly partake in intra-school and inter-school cultural competitions.
Students are trained in cultural activities such as Janapadha Geetha, Bhava Geetha, Drama, Dance, and other creative activities. Students also participate in Pratibha Karanji competitions conducted by the Department of Public Instructions and competitions held at Suttur Jathra every year. The school celebrates all national festivals with a view to inculcating the values of patriotism in students.
The school organizes science and art exhibitions every year. Students receive guidance from their teachers for making practical models. Students at neighbouring schools are invited to the exhibition.

About Us
The school was founded in the year 1984 at Krishnarajanagara with a view to providing quality education to the economically backward students of the region. At the time of its inception, there were only 3 classrooms and only 30 students. The school made steady progress over the years and earned goodwill. The school is in tranquil surroundings with an excellent infrastructure.
The infrastructure of the school includes spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, a library with more than 1000 books, a well-equipped laboratory and computer lab, indoor and outdoor sporting materials, midday meals, and other basic amenities.
