JSS Boys High School was established in 1958 at Chamarajanagara under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The school is committed to fostering the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of its students by instilling positive values and morale. Nestled amidst a lush green environment, the school features a well-structured building and facilities such as a modern computer lab, a well-stocked library, a spacious playground, and other essential amenities.
The admissions are open to the students of 8th, 9th and 10th, and the students are admitted based on the preliminary tests.
The medium of instruction is in Kannada and English
Arts and sports are given equal importance alongside academics. Each year, numerous cultural and sports events are organized, including various competitions held in honor of the birth anniversary of our founding father, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. To enhance students’ knowledge and creativity, platforms such as science clubs, art clubs, and fine arts forums have been established.

- Library: Well-stocked with 7,400 books on various subjects, viz, literature, science, encyclopedia, dictionary, general knowledge, etc. Has subscribed to several magazines and periodicals.
- Laboratories: Well-equipped with a telescope and modern equipment. The computer lab has 10 computer systems.
- Playground: Has facilities to play volleyball, basketball and kho-kho.
- Water: The borewell inside the school premises fulfils the water needs of the students and staff.
- Toilet: Separate toilets for students and teachers/staff.
- Hostel: Located inside the school campus. Students from other places can seek admission to the hostel.
