Suttur, November 22, 2025: Students of JSS Higher Primary School, Suttur, have achieved outstanding success in the cluster-level Pratibha Karanji competitions organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Nanjangud. A total of fifteen students secured first place in various events and have been selected for the taluk-level competitions, bringing pride and recognition to the institution.
In the 1st to 4th standard category, Tanushri secured first place in Kannada Kantapatha, while Gowthami won first place in English Kantapatha. Vibha S. bagged first place in Storytelling, Vibha won first place in the Performance Song category, and Anushri secured first place in Religious Recital (Sanskrit). Spoorthi won second place in Patriotic Song Singing, Prarthana secured second place in Devotional Song, and students such as Gunashri, Prishmita, and Preksha earned third-place positions in their respective competitions including Fancy Dress and other events.
In the 5th to 7th standard group, Neela Manjunath and Namita secured first place in Kannada and English Kantapatha respectively, while Poorvi excelled by winning first place in both Hindi Kantapatha and Patriotic Song Singing. Niharika achieved first place in Dharmika Pathana (Sanskrit), and Hanumantamma secured first place in Storytelling. Vaishnavi won first place in Performance Song, Deepa in Clay Modelling, Pruthvi in Patriotic Song, and Bheemappa secured first place in Mimicry. Several students, including Lavanya, Rashmi S., Kushi, Swaroopa, Shivani, Pallavi, Bhoomika Patil, and Veerabhadra also distinguished themselves by winning second and third places across different categories.
The Managing Committee members, heads of various departments, headmasters, and teachers have congratulated all the winners and extended their best wishes for continued success at the taluk-level competitions.
