Suttur, September 22, 2026: Sri Veerabhadraswamy Jayanti Utsava was celebrated with religious fervour and devotion on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, during the month of Bhadrapada, at the Sri Veerabhadraswamy Temple (Hill) in Suttur Srikshetra and at the Sri Veerabhadraswamy Temples located on the premises of Sri Matha.
Special prayers and rituals were offered in the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamy.
As part of the Jayanti Utsava celebrations, Sri Veerabhadraswamy, along with Goddess Bhadrakali, was taken in a procession amid special decorations and ceremonial honours. The celebrations also included Mahamangalarati, Veeragase dance performances and traditional Mangalavadya.
Thousands of villagers and devotees from Suttur and the surrounding areas participated in the celebrations and sought the blessings and grace of Sri Veerabhadraswamy.
Necessary arrangements were made for the convenience of the devotees who participated in the Jayanti Utsava.
