Suttur, August 11, 2026: The Shravanamasa Poojanushthana and Pravachana (discourse) programme will be organised at Suttur Srikshetra from August 12 to September 10, 2026, as part of the auspicious month of Shravanamasa.
During the month-long observance, special poojas including Rudrabhisheka, Sahasranamavali, Ashtottara and Mahamangalarati will be performed every day at the shrine of Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji, and at the temples of Sri Mahadeshwara, Sri Nanjundeshwara, Sri Someshwara, Sri Veerabhadreshwara and Sri Narayanaswamy.
As part of the daily spiritual programme, mass prayers will be held from 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm, followed by a discourse from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Shivatattva Chintamani, authored by Lakkanna Dandesha. Prof. H.B. Devanna will deliver the discourse, continuing from the portion covered during last year’s programme.
The discourse programme will be inaugurated on August 12 at 6.30 pm in the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.
The inaugural programme will be held in the presence of Sri Tontadarya Swamy of Sri Pattada Mutt, Hanchipura, Saraguru Taluk. Smt. M.S. Archana, Managing Director, Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation, Mysuru, will inaugurate the programme, while Smt. R. Aishwarya, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru, will preside over the function.
Devotees and members of the public have been requested to participate in the Shravanamasa Poojanushthana and Pravachana programme in large numbers and seek the blessings and grace of Sri Guru.
