About Us
Sri Mahadeshwara High School, Kamagere, Kollegal Taluk, Chamarajanagara District was established in the year 1971. The school is located in an area of one acre. It is a Kannada Medium school having about 125 students.
Admissions are made as per the rules of the Government. Students are given priority in admission on ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
The school has three classrooms, a library, a staff room, a computer room, and a playground. It is well-equipped with a variety of sports materials and scientific devices. The playground includes courts for volleyball, throwball, and kho-kho.
Cultural programs are conducted during the last period on Fridays. Talented students identified through these sessions are given the opportunity to represent the school in inter-school cultural competitions. Every year, our students actively participate in cultural events and competitions held during the annual Jatra Mahotsava at Suttur Sri Kshetra. All national and traditional festivals are celebrated in the school with meaning and enthusiasm, fostering cultural awareness and unity among students.
