Admission is offered to 8th, 9th and 10th classes as per the rules laid by the government of Karnataka. The medium of instruction is Kannada. The academic year starts in the last week of May every year.
Here, co-curricular activities and sports go hand in hand with academics. Music, dance, drama, painting, debate, and other art forms are actively encouraged, and our students participate enthusiastically in both inter-school and intra-school competitions. The school provides indoor and outdoor sports equipment, and students receive training in volleyball, ball badminton, handball, cricket, and badminton. Special training in band set is also provided to the children.

About Us
Ummathur is a small village in the Chamarajanagara district. Until 1982, children from this region had to walk several kilometers to attend high school. Recognizing this hardship, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji established a high school in the village in 1982.
Initially, the school operated from a residential house. It was later shifted to the Inspection Bungalow before finally moving into a newly constructed building in the academic year 2008–09. Today, the school has a well-structured facility with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, a science laboratory, a computer lab, and other essential amenities. The school is committed to the overall personality development of its students by instilling social, spiritual, and ethical values.
