Mahadevanagar is a village located about 7 km from Nanjangud town. Most residents in this area belong to economically disadvantaged communities. In the academic year 2000–01, JSS Mahavidyapeetha established a high school in Mahadevanagar with the aim of providing quality education to rural children.
Our objective is to raise awareness about the value of education among the rural population and to empower girls by educating them to lead independent and self-reliant lives. The school is well-equipped with all the facilities required for the academic and cultural development of students. It has excellent infrastructure, including spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, a library, a well-equipped science laboratory, a computer lab, sports materials, and other essential amenities.
