Cultural and sports activities are encouraged. National festivals and other days of importance are celebrated. Every year, several competitions are organized as a part of the birth anniversary of our founding father His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. Students also take part in Pratibha Karanji competitions and Suttur Jatra Mahotsav.

Hadya is a small village located in the KR Nagar taluk of Mysuru district, nestled on the banks of the river Kaveri. Rich in historical significance, the village is home to the renowned Veerabhadreshwara Temple, Sri Basaveshwara Temple, and Shivasharane Akkamahadevi Temple—built during the reign of Sri Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar.
In 1992, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji established a high school in Hadya, with a vision to provide quality education rooted in traditional values. Since its inception, the school has focused on the holistic development of students by nurturing knowledge, morals, discipline, and cultural heritage. The institution has consistently delivered commendable academic results.
