Admission is offered to the students of classes 8th,9th, and 10th as per the regulations of the government. The medium of instruction is Kannada.
The school allows different activities like arts, music, dance, drama, and sports. These activities help the students to bring out and enhance their hidden potential. Students participate in inter-school competitions, Pratibha Karanji competitions and Annual Suttur Jatra Mahotsav competitions. Training is provided in throw ball, volleyball, and Kho-Kho. We also conduct science and art exhibition at our school every year.

Terakanambi is a historically significant village in the Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagara district. Recognizing the need for quality education in the region, JSS Mahavidyapeetha established a high school here in 1962–63 with the mission of empowering local children through learning.
The school is dedicated to nurturing young minds by instilling strong ethical, moral, and social values—shaping students into responsible and capable individuals.
Housed in a well-structured building, the school offers excellent infrastructure, including well-ventilated classrooms, a well-stocked library, a fully equipped science laboratory, a computer lab, and ample sporting materials. Regular seminars and guest lectures by resource persons are organized to enhance student learning beyond the classroom.
