Industry-Academia Interaction on “Training on Computing Content Creation and Career Path” at JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science

Mysuru, December 20, 2018: The Department of Computer Science, along with the Career Guidance and Placement Cell, at JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, BN Road, Mysuru, organized a special Industry-Academia Interaction program on December 17, 2018. The event focused on providing training and information to students on computing content creation and career paths.

The program featured Mr. Manjunath, Coordinator at LXL, and Ms. Farha Fathima from Microsoft, Bengaluru, who delivered a presentation and conducted a demo based on the theme “Computer Se Karo Computer Se Bhado.”

The trainers emphasized the importance of developing computing content creation skills, which can lead to numerous job opportunities, particularly in the field of education. They showcased practical tools and graph creation techniques that simplify complex theoretical concepts for both students and faculty. Prof. B.V. Sambashivaiah, College Chief Executive, presided over the program, with Prof. M. Mahadevappa, Principal, and Mr. Vidyashankara, Head of UG Computer Science, in attendance. The event witnessed the participation of over 400 students and staff members.

Kum. Arpitha Nadigar, a final year BCA student, warmly welcomed and introduced the guests, and also expressed gratitude during the vote of thanks.
