Suttur, November 25, 2025: As part of the 39th Punyaradhne of His Holiness Jagadguru Dr. Shri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji at Suttur Srikshetra, special poojas such as Rudrabhisheka, Ashtottara and other rituals were performed in the morning at the shrine of Adijagadguru Shri Shivaratreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji, and Poojya Shri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, in the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Shri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.
On this occasion, the Bhoomi Puja of the mantaps for the Jatra Mahotsav of Adijagadguru Shri Shivaratreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji, to be held at Suttur Srikshetra from January 15 to 20, 2026, was also performed. Following this, a preliminary consultation meeting for the upcoming fair (jatre) was held.
The programme was attended by pontiffs of various maths, including Vatalu, Hosamath, Huliyurdurga, Kuderu, Neelkanthaswamy Math, Padugur, Nanjangud, Hullahalli, Alamatti, Madapura, Shiramahalli, Chilakavadi, Bettadapura, Dandikere, Salur, Halaguru, Harave, Chikkathuppur, Chunchanahalli, Kundur, Mudigunda, Doddaballapura, Arakere, Madalli, Ragibommanahalli, Kasuvinahalli, Basaveshwara Math, Haraguru Charamurti, along with officials of the organisation and a large number of devotees.
Prof. Subbappana extended a warm welcome. Shri C. V. Basavaraju proposed a vote of thanks, and Shri H. L. Prakash compered the programme. The children of Suttur School offered prayers on this occasion.
