Graduation Day Celebrations Held at JSS Pre-Primary School

The UKG students Graduation Day was observed at the JSS Pre-Primary School at Suttur. Heads of various Departments of the JSS Institutions Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Sri Veerabhadraiah, Dr. H.M. Mahesh, Sri G. Shivamallu, Sri G.M. Shadakshari, Sri G. Shivaswamy, Sri Mahadevaprasad and other teachers were present.

Suttur, March 19, 2025: JSS Pre-Primary School hosted a Graduation Day ceremony for UKG students, marking a significant milestone in their early education journey.

The event was graced by Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Coordinating Officer, JSS Institutions, as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized that English is merely a medium of communication, not a measure of knowledge, and encouraged parents to promote learning in the mother tongue. He advised parents not to pressurize children for high marks but instead to identify and nurture their interests.

Dr. H.M. Mahesh, Principal, JSS B.Ed. College, highlighted the crucial role of teachers in shaping children’s skills and talents. He noted that since teachers spend significant time with students, they play an instrumental role in guiding them toward becoming responsible citizens.

Another esteemed guest, Sri Mahadevaprasad, Warden, Basaveshwara Boys Hostel, urged parents to understand and care for their children. He encouraged them to share moral stories instead of focusing solely on academic performance.

The event also featured student speakers Dishani S., Nishmita Singh, and Kritikaraj, who shared their thoughts and experiences.

The program was attended by Assistant Coordinating Officer Sri Veerabhadraiah, Headmasters Sri G. Shivamallu, Sri G.M. Shadakshari, and Sri G. Shivaswamy, among others.

Graduation certificates were presented to the students, recognizing their achievements. The celebrations concluded with cultural performances by students and their parents, adding vibrancy to the event.

The ceremony began with an invocation by students, followed by an introductory note by Smt. H.B. Krupa, a welcome address by Smt. S.J. Sowjanya, and a vote of thanks by Smt. B. Vedavati. The event was mastered by Kum. H.M. Savita.

The Graduation Day celebrations reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education, emphasizing both academic and moral growth.
