Educational and Science Exhibition Showcases Innovative Models on Day 2

Suttur, February 2, 2019: The Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji’s Jatra Mahotsav at Suttur continued to captivate visitors with its Educational and Science Exhibition, featuring an array of impressive models created by students from various JSS schools. On the second day, a total of 152 models were exhibited across different categories, showcasing the students’ creativity and scientific knowledge.

The JSS School in Suttur showcased a model of the PSLV satellite launch, garnering appreciation from visitors who were enlightened about its uses. The Ajjipura School exhibited an automatic street light model designed to save time and prevent energy wastage, attracting the attention of many attendees. The students of Jayanagara School presented a clap-controlled bulb model, demonstrating an innovative alternative to traditional switches. Another noteworthy model was displayed by the students of Ramapura School, who used a light box to explain the characteristics of light, leaving visitors impressed. The Saraswathipuram School’s model on traffic safety, specifically addressing accidents at steep turns, also drew considerable interest.

Lakshmipuram JSS School students raised awareness about the law of motion through a model based on Newton’s principles. The students of Baragi School highlighted the significance of X-rays and scanning in medical diagnostics through their model. Meanwhile, Hullahalli School emphasized the importance of solar energy with their solar village model. Additionally, BEd students from Suttur showcased various educational and science models, collaborating with the Mobile Laboratory of the Science Development Committee of Mysore University, which is utilized in schools. The students of Lakshmipuram School were found explaining a model prepared by the Agastya Foundation to exhibition visitors.

Throughout the day, Haraguru Charamurthy, members of the management team, the public, devotees, and school students visited the exhibition, applauding the students and teachers for their remarkable efforts.
