Mysuru, August 22, 2022: Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji, an exceptional visionary and educationist, was honored and remembered during the celebration of his 107th Jayanthi Mahotsav at JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ooty Road, Mysuru. The event showcased the profound impact of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Swamiji’s contributions to the field of education.
Prof. Chandrashekaraiah, former Principal of JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, expressed deep admiration for Dr. Sri Shivarathri Swamiji and recognized his profound understanding that education holds the key to resolving various societal challenges. Prof. Chandrashekaraiah emphasized the everlasting significance of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji’s teachings and the transformative power of education. Highlighting the exceptional virtues of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Swamiji, Prof. Chandrashekaraiah noted his profound emotional and tender nature, along with his commitment to virtuous ideals. Swamiji’s establishment of quality educational institutions both nationally and internationally revolutionized the educational landscape, allowing education to reach every stratum of society even before India gained independence. Sri Siddalinga Swamiji of Vatalu, in his address, shared personal experiences and recalled his association with the esteemed Paramapujya Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji.
The function was presided over by Prof. B.V. Sambhashivaiah, Chief Executive of the college, who paid homage to the revered Swamiji, acknowledging his exceptional contributions in spreading the light of knowledge worldwide.
