Pujya Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji Affirms the Immortality of Truth

Suttur, April 1, 2019: In a thought-provoking discourse held at Suttur Srikshetra on Sunday, Pujya Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji emphasized the timeless nature of truth. Drawing inspiration from the Upanishads, Swamiji stated, “Truth always prevails, it’s eternal, truth never dies.”

Using the analogy of a seed, Swamiji highlighted that within a seed lies the potential for leaves, flowers, and fruits, even though these manifestations are not apparent from its external appearance. It is through nurturing the seed with water and planting it in the ground that the leaves, colorful flowers, and delicious fruits emerge. Similarly, Swamiji emphasized that truth, despite its various forms and interpretations, remains fundamentally the same.

“The world may undergo change, but truth remains unchanging and permanent,” Swamiji asserted. Citing the famous quote by Basavanna, ‘Sthaavarakke Alivuntu Jangamakke Alivilla,’ Swamiji illustrated the eternal nature of truth by comparing it to a temple that may gradually deteriorate over time, yet the divine essence it represents remains eternal.

It is noteworthy that Pujya Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji delivers discourses in English language during Sundays, making the teachings accessible to a wider audience.
