Mysuru, April 23, 2024: Sri S.V. Venkatesh, Founder CEO of Mysuru Profile.in, emphasized the significance of self-review for student growth during his participation in a personality development camp held for students of JSS Ayurveda, Speech and Hearing, and Nursing Colleges. The event took place at Sri Sutturkshetra from April 15 to 17, 2024.
Addressing the attendees on the theme of ‘Positive Attitude,’ Sri S.V. Venkatesh highlighted the importance of students recognizing their individual capabilities and strengths. He emphasized that leveraging these attributes effectively is key to achieving success. “A good student embodies self-confidence, intelligence, and hard work. By setting clear goals, fostering positive attitudes, and discarding negative thoughts, students can navigate their journey towards success. It’s essential to realize that many of today’s leaders started as ordinary individuals, achieving greatness through hard work and wise decisions,” he remarked.
Dr. Poornima K. Murthy, Director of Pragna Kuteera Ayurveda Institute, Mysuru, provided insights into the richness and diversity of Indian culture during her address. She underscored the values of sacrifice, respect, and love embedded in Indian traditions, drawing inspiration from revered epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Under the auspices of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the personality development camp commenced with morning sessions of group prayer, yoga, and meditation, fostering holistic growth among participants. Activities such as traditional games and visits to temples enriched the cultural experience of the attendees. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to expand their knowledge on various crops at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
The camp concluded with spirited prayer and cultural programs held on the banks of the river Kapila, symbolizing the participants’ dedication to spiritual and cultural enrichment.
A total of 233 students from Ayurveda, Speech and Hearing, and Nursing colleges actively participated in the camp, showcasing their commitment to personal development and cultural understanding.
