Sri Malai Mahadeshwara Jyothiyatra chariot welcomed at the Suttur Srimath

The chariot of the Sri Malai Mahadeshwara Jyothiyatra, taken out as part of the Sri Malai Mahadeshwara Kumbhamela that will be held at Ambigarahalli Village in K.R. Pet Taluk, arrived at the Suttur Srimath. Sri Shivakumaraswamy, Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Administrative Officer Sri S.P. Udayashankar welcomed the jyothiyatra in the presence of villagers.

JSS High School students win the overall prize and get selected for district-level championships

Heads of various departments of the JSS High School, Suttur, and Physical Education instructor, seen with the winners of the taluk-level athletics championships of the school.

Suttur, September 26, 2022: The students of the JSS High School, Suttur, took part in the taluk-level athletics competitions conducted by the Department of School Education and Literacy, held at Nanjangud.

The details are as follows: Pavan Kumar – 100 (1st prize); Yashwanth – High Jump (1st); Shot Put (1st), Discuss Throw (1st – created record with registering a 21.99 m). Yashwanth has won the individual championship. Likhit – Long Jump (2nd); Deepak, Pavan Kumar, Karan, Yashwanth – 4×100 m Relay (1st);

Girls: Deepika – 600 m running (2nd prize), Long Jump (2nd); Abena – High Jump (3rd). The JSS High School, has won overall prize and the winners are selected to take part in the district-level championship.

The administrative officer, heads of various departments and teachers have congratulated the winners.

Suttur, September 24, 2022: The students of the JSS High School, Suttur, took part in the Taluk-level sports competitions, held at Nanjangud, organized by the School Education and Literacy Department and have been selected to district-level competition.

The details of the winners and categories are as follows: Rohith (1st place – Triple jump; 2nd – shot put; 3rd – discuss throw); M.C. Basavaraj (2nd place – 3,000 m running); T.S. Vinay (2nd – 200 m running); Yuvraj and team (3rd – 4 x 100 m. relay).

Girls: Meghana (1st place – 400 m running); Akumani (2nd – High jump); Rachanashri (2nd – Long jump, 3rd 200 m runing); Pavithra (3rd – Discuss throw); T.D. Harshita (3rd – 3,000 m running).

The administrative officer, Heads of various departments, Headmaster and teachers have congratulated the winners.

Suttur JSS school students selected for taluk-level Kalotsava

Students of the JSS High School, Suttur, participated in the Hobli-level Kalotsava program held at the Mallupura Govt. High School, in Nanjangud Taluk, and won prizes in various categories including Sanksrit and Hindi oration, Folk song singing, Bharatanatya, Mimicry and Folk dance competitions and won prize. They have been selected to take part in the taluk-level copmetitions. The students are seen with the Headmasters and other teachers of the school.

Suttur, September 23, 2022: The students of the JSS High School, Suttur, took part in various competitions in the Kalotsava competitions organized by the School Education and Literacy Department, Nanjangud, held at the Mallupura Government High School, and have won prizes in 20 different categories at the hobli-level competitions.

The details of the winners are as follows: PrajwalKumar (Sanskrit speech), M. Rohith (Hindi speech), Shantakumar (Folk song singing), Yogita (Bharatanatyam), T. Vishal (Mimicry), Meghana and team (Folk dance), they have won first prize in respective categories and have been selected for the taluk-level competitions.

Annapurna (Sanskrit chanting), B. Ramya (Light music singing), B.T. Chandana (Fancy dress), Pinku (Rangoli), Shivaraj Hiremath and Amithkumar (Quiz) – 2nd prize. Priyanka (English oration), P.J. Amrutha (Painting), Vijayalakhsmi (Speec) – 3rd prize.

All the above students also earned certificates for their participation.

The administrative officers, Heads of various departments, Headmasters and teachers of the school have congratulated the winners.
