Suttur, October 30, 2026: Three athletes from JSS Educational Institutions, Suttur, have qualified for the state-level competitions following their performances at the district-level athletics competitions organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru.
Yogini Girish Hosamani secured second place in the high jump, Shubhashree secured first place in the 4 × 400-metre relay, and Gunashital secured second place in the 400-metre race, earning selection for the state-level competitions.
In other events, Usha secured third place in the 100-metre hurdles. Shweta and her team secured second place in the 4 × 100-metre relay, while Sharath Prasad and his team secured third place in the 4 × 400-metre relay.
The institution’s administrators, heads and teaching staff congratulated all the athletes on their achievements.
