In the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamy, Pujya Sadhguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai, Founder of One World One Family, Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, presented the Pratibha Puraskar to students of the Suttur Free Residential School who excelled in various subjects. Dr. H.S. Raghavendra Rao and the Principal of JSS Residential School were also present on the occasion.
Suttur, September 22, 2026: “Even if a temple is not built, a school must be built,” said Pujya Sadhguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai, Founder of ‘One World One Family,’ Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, while addressing students at Suttur Srikshetra.
Speaking on the significance of spiritual guidance and education, Sadhguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai said that being born as a human being and receiving the guidance of a Sadhguru towards spiritual liberation is among the greatest blessings in life.
Referring to His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, he said that the revered Seer of Suttur possesses the compassionate heart of a mother. He told the students that they were fortunate to receive the blessings and guidance of the Jagadguru and urged them to make proper use of the opportunities available to them and move confidently towards success in life.
Citing the teachings of Allama Prabhu, he emphasised the importance of devotion in one’s journey through life, observing that just as a lamp cannot glow without oil, the path to success becomes difficult without devotion and inner awakening.
He appreciated the efforts of Suttur Srimath in promoting and preserving the country’s culture, literature and spirituality. He also commended the establishment of several institutions across the country that are providing valuable services in the fields of education, healthcare and social welfare.
Blessing the students on the occasion, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji said that India has earned a distinguished place in the world for its rich religious and cultural heritage. The country, enriched by the penance and spiritual contributions of saints and sages, has long been regarded as a land of peace and spiritual wisdom.
Referring to Sadhguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai’s guiding principle of “One World, One Family,” the Jagadguru observed that embracing such a philosophy could contribute towards creating a world free from conflict and war. He stressed that people across the world should live in peace, harmony and mutual understanding.
His Holiness appreciated the distinctive service being rendered by Sadhguru Sri Madhusudhan Sai and his institutions, particularly their contributions in the fields of healthcare, education, rural development and other areas essential for the welfare of society.
On the occasion, Dr. H.S. Raghavendra Rao, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of DCX Systems Limited, Bengaluru, presented awards to students of the Suttur Free Residential School who had excelled in various academic subjects. The Pratibha Puraskara is supported by Shri Raghavendra Rao.
The programme was attended by retired Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shashidhar Prasad; Shri Govinda Reddy, Shri Giridhar Nayak, Shri Jayaram Reddy and Shri Sunil of Sathya Sai Sanstha; journalist Shri Mohan; officials of JSS Mahavidyapeetha; workers of Sathya Sai Sanstha; devotees from Suttur and surrounding villages; and members of the general public.
