Suttur, July 20, 2026: Students of Suttur JSS School delivered an impressive performance at the State-Level Mallakhamb Kreedotsava held in Dharwad, winning several individual and team awards.
A total of 16 students from the school participated in the competition, which was jointly organised by the Youth Empowerment and Sports Department, Dharwad District, and the Karnataka Amateur Mallakhamb Association, Lakshmeshwara.
In the team events, the boys’ team in the Under-14 category secured first place, while the boys’ team in the Above-14 category won second place. The girls’ team in the Above-14 category secured third place.
In the individual events, Ayush won second place, while Yashwanth secured third place.
The school management, headmaster and staff congratulated the students on their achievements. They also appreciated Mallakhamb instructor Shri Dundappa Dasanna for training and guiding the students.
