The Silk Fab Expo was inaugurated on 05-01-2026, with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Shri Nitesh Patil, IAS, Regional Commissioner, Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by staff members of the National Handloom Development Corporation, including Shri Abhay Tandon, Regional Manager; Shri Vijay Upari, Assistant Manager, along with Shri Prabhakaran C., Deputy Director, Weavers’ Service Centre, Bengaluru.
Organized on the occasion of the Sankranti festival, the Silk Fab Expo will continue until 17-01-2026. The expo is open to the public free of charge and will be held daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, welcoming visitors from Mysuru and nearby areas.
