About Us

The JSS Kannada Medium School, Srirampura, was established in the academic year 1992–93. Most of the students studying here come from rural backgrounds, and the school currently has over 120 students.

The school offers good facilities and regularly organizes seminars and guest lectures. The Students’ Union conducts various co-curricular activities such as mock parliament sessions, educational tours, and more. Several associations—including the Arts Club, Science Club, Language Club, and the Scouts and Guides wing—have been formed to encourage active student participation. Facilities like a well-stocked library and a well-equipped laboratory further support academic learning. Special classes are held for academically weaker students, and group study sessions are encouraged to enhance peer learning.

Since its inception, two headmasters have served the school. Sri Shivappa, the first headmaster, rendered invaluable service and contributed significantly to the school’s progress. The current headmaster, Sri K. S. Suresh, continues to lead the school with dedication, and under his proficient leadership, the school is making steady progress.
