Free residential education to the children who are orphaned due to pandemic
Bengaluru, May 27, 2021: The Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Math, Suttur, has announced to provide free residential education to children who are orphaned due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Paramapujya Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji addressed a press meet in Bengaluru on May 26, 2021. “The Sri Math will adopt the children who have lost both the parents due to the pandemic and provide free education from 1st standard to 10th standard. Free education will also be provided to children hailing from very poor families, children of farmers and daily wage workers. The Sri math will look after all their needs,” he informed.

Paramapujya Swamiji distributed foodgrains kits and financial help to the kith of those who died of COVID-19, sponsored by Minister for Cooperation and Mysuru District In-charge Sri S.T. Somashekar, at a program held at Yeshwanthpura Assembly Constituency limits in Bengaluru. Minister S.T. Somashekar has exhibited his generosity and his service mindedness towards the society by contributing the foodkits and financial help to the needy, by spending from his pocket.

Employees of JSS Group have voluntarily contributed their one-day’s salary for Covid Relief works to help the families that are facing problems due to the lockdown. The Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Math has time and again stood by its principles of serving the society and the people. The generosity of the staff members of JSS Group is a proof of the Sri Math’s efforts in instilling the tenets of humanity and love for the mankind.

COVID Vaccination: His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji took the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine (Covaxin) at JSS Hospital, Mysuru.

JSS hospital has been always at the forefront in fighting COVID-19. The manpower here are working day and night to get a grip of the ongoing situation. His Holiness Mahaswamiji, during his visit to the hospital interacted with the medical practitioners and attendants working in the COVID ward of JSS Hospital and boosted their morale.

JSS Hospital being one of the designated COVID hospitals in Mysuru has been constantly in fight against Corona virus with the cutting edge technologies. His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the President of JSS Mahavidyapeeta has been constantly supporting us to face this challenging situation. He held a “special review meeting” with the hospital authorities regarding augmenting the oxygenated beds for the COVID patients. He also reviewed the current COVID situation at the hospital and gave some suggestions to enhance the faciltiies. After the meeting, His Holiness Mahaswamiji spoke to the media.
