Suttur, Nov. 25, 2018: Shivadeepotsava that is held every year during Kartika Maasa was held amidst much fervor. Special poojas were offered to the shrine of Adijagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswami and Sri Someshwara, Sri Mahadeshwara, Sri Narayanaswamy, Sri Veerabhadreshwara temples at Suttur on the occasion of Shivadeepotsava, in the divine presence of HH Paramapujya Jagadguru Sri Shivarthreeswhara Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.
Mahamangalarathi and silver chariot praakaratosava were held in the presence of Haraguru Charamurthy and thousands of devotees from Suttur Srikshetra and surrounding villages. The students of the JSS School, Suttur, rendered an invocation, followed by a vachana recitation by the music teachers of the school.
All the shrines and temples in Suttur were decorated with light, which attracted the devotees.
Junior Pontiff of the Suttur Math, Sri Jayarajendra Swamiji, pontiffs of other maths including Huliyurdurga, Benkanahalli Math, Chikkatuppuru Math, Haraguru Charamurthy, State Congress Women’s Unit President Smt. Pushpa Amarnath and other dignitaries and hundreds of devotees were present.
