Teachers Day celebration at JSS School in Suttur

Suttur, Sept. 05, 2020: A programme was organised at the JSS Educational Institution in Suttur on the occasion of Teachers Day today.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri N.T. Satish, Lecturer, JSS D.L.Ed. College, Suttur, explained that the status of a teacher in the society is very significant. In Indian culture a teacher has been given a prominent position. Hence, it is the responsibility of all the teachers to ensure that the students become good citizens of the country.

“A teacher is a person who teaches us alphabets. Role of a teacher prevails behind every successful person. Teachers should ensure that along with getting good marks, the students should also inculcate good values in life.

Sri Veerappa, Sri Ajaykumar, Smt. Shweta, Sri B. Manohar and Smt. Sharada, who provided computer training to the teachers from the last three months, were felicitated on the occasion.

Heads of various departments of the school including Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Sri Sampath, Sri Veerabhadraiah, Dr. M.C. Nataraj, Smt. C.P. Nirmala, Sri B.M. Siddappa, Sri G.M. Shadakshari and Sri Mahadevaprasad were present.

Earlier the programme commenced with an invocation by Sri M. Rajashekaramurthy. Sri G.L. Tripurantaka welcomed and delivered the introductory address and SRi N.G. Shivamurthy gave a vote of thanks. Smt. D.S. Ambika hosted the programme.

Five trainers who provided computer training to the JSS Educational Institution staff in Suttur were felicitated at the Teachers Day Programme. Heads of various departments of the school were present on the occasion.
