Suttur, January 13, 2022: On the occasion of National Youth Day, the JSS Education University (B.Ed. College), Suttur organized a program on 12th January 2023. The program began with floral tributes being offered to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. B.Ed. trainees Akshita, Balaji, and Pavitra delivered speeches on the life history of Swami Vivekananda, his educational thoughts, messages, and the significance of National Youth Day.
Addressing the audience, K.V. Yogesh, an assistant professor at the college, expressed his hope that the youth would adopt Swami Vivekananda’s principles and follow them instead of treating National Youth Day as just another celebration.
The principal of the college, Dr. Mahesh H.M., presided over the program and explained the significance of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts and influence on the youth. Assistant Professor G.N. Manjunath and B.J. Adarsh were also present. The program began with an invocation by Kum. Nandana, while Kum. Kavya welcomed the guests and gathering, Kum. Monica gave a vote of thanks and Kum. Nethra anchored the program.
