Training will improve our capacity, skills, and knowledge – Dr. C.G. Betsurmath

Suttur, February 21, 2019: “A person can improve his capacity, skills, and knowledge by availing training,” opined Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha.

He presided over the inaugural function of the three-day training programme organized by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha, held at Suttur Srikshetra for the benefit of the second division clerks of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha.

“By attending training programmes we can come to know about the new policies of the government and the Institution. It helps us to overcome inferiority complex and increases professional satisfaction, thereby reducing mistakes while doing the job. This, in turn, will instill confidence and trust upon us among the employers and seniors,” he added.

Sri S.P. Udayashankar inaugurated the workshop. In his address, he said, “Today there is lack of service-mindedness among the employees. Your attitude plays an important role in the success or improvement of a company or institution for which you work. Along with hard work, punctuality and accountability are also required. Learning is a continuous process. You get opportunities to learn so many things from your seniors at your workplace. If you gain good experience you can become resource persons. Hence, try to hone your skills and knowledge,” he advised.

Sri Shankarappa explained about the workshop. He said that more than 19 subject experts will be sharing their experiences and knowledge in the three-day workshop. “According to the policy of the government and this Institution training is required for you to serve here. You can improve your working capabilities within the legal framework,” he said.

Sri M. Siriyappa, Sri K.R. Santanam, Sri H.S. Nagaraj and Sri K. Shivaiah were present.

Earlier, the programme commenced with an invocation by the students of JSS School, Sri Srinivas K. Iyengar welcomed, Sri Matamallikarjun gave a vote of thanks and Sri A.M. Shivaprakash compered.
