Mysuru, January 28, 2019: “Time is very important for human beings. But, today’s youth are wasting a lot of time on social media,” opined Dr. Ganesh Ameenghad, Journalist and Litterateur.

He participated as the chief guest at the ‘Essay Competition’ organized by the ‘Jaana-Jaaneyara Balaga’ of the Kannada Post Graduate Department of the JSS Arts, Commerce and Science College, B. N. Incidents of cheating and frauds are increasing through social websites. In many cases, we realize it very late. Like we will be extra cautious when we are living in a glass house we should be cautious while using social media. Along with providing information, the newspapers should also shoulder the responsibility of improving language and vocabulary. The students should increase reading habits. Please don’t waste time, utilize it properly and achieve your goals,” he said.

An essay that is pro-society will definitely draw appreciation. If you develop a habit of discussing with your friends and analyze the subject before you start writing, it will add more meaning and your writing becomes analytical. Hence, if you try to understand properly what you are going to present and then put it in words it gives you wonderful results.”
