She explained that Pujya Swamiji joined the Suttur Srimath at the tender age of 5 years, and shouldered the responsibilities of the Srimath when he was just 12-years-old. She also explained briefly about his journey of life, establishment of free hostels and selfless service to the society.
“Noticing the increasing number of students day-by-day Pujya Swamiji established educational institutions in many other places. He obtained a place called Anekaruhatti from Sri Jayachamarjendra Wadiyar, the prince of Mysuru. Though he didn’t had money, he could mobilize resources through his firm determination and thoughts of serving the society. The JSS Educational Institution has reached the place where it is today due to his determination to serve the society by providing quality education to one and all. Many stalwarts of the state like Rashtrakavi G.S. Shivarudrappa, renowned economist Dr. D. M. Nanjudappa and others were also students of JSS educational institution. People like him are very rare to be seen. We should follow his footsteps and inculcate good habits,” she added.
