ABOUT (year of establishment, history, and other details)

JSS Pre-Primary (Nursery) School, Saragur, was started in the academic year 1984–85 by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, with the support of Dr. C.N. Mruthyunjayappa of Saragur. Initially, the school operated from the residence of Dr. C.N. Mruthyunjayappa, as it did not have its own building. The school received its own building in the academic year 1991–92.
