Cultural Activities: The cultural activities are non-academic platforms to explore the interests of students. Here children are involved in dance, music, crafts, creative art competitions, debates, writing, etc. Our students have participated in inter-school and intra-school competitions and have won many accolades.
Sports Activities: Sports and games are an integral part of school education. It helps for the physical and intellectual growth of the students. Our school possess both indoor and outdoor sporting materials. We train students in volleyball, throw ball and kho-kho.

The Higher Primary School in Saragur was established in the year 1984-85 with the blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. The school was started with the support of Dr CN Mruthyunjayappa. The school has been receiving grant-in-aid since 1995 and has been upgrading each passing year. In the year 2009-10, the school celebrated its 25th year.
The school is located on four acres of tranquil environment with all the facilities. It has a well-structured building with spacious and ventilated classrooms. It also has a well-stocked library, a vast playground, a well-equipped computer lab, indoor and outdoor sporting materials. Currently, the students from Saragur, HD Kote and nearby villages are pursuing quality education.
This school received the “Best School” award in the year 2011-12.
