Admission is offered from LKG to 7th class as per the rules of the State Government. The medium of instruction is Kannada, and the academic year starts in the last week of May.
Arts, science, and sports clubs are formed to bring out the hidden talents in students. The last hour of every Friday is devoted to cultural activities. Our students take part in Pratibha Karanji competitions and Suttur Jathra Mahotsav. Adequate sporting materials are provided to the children, and they are trained in volleyball, throw ball and Kho-Kho. Science and art exhibitions are organised every year.

JSS Nursery and Higher Primary School in Raghavendra Nagara was started in the year 1984 for the upliftment of the indigent children of this region. It came under grant in aid in the year 1990. Our school aims at the holistic development of the students by creating a caring atmosphere and promoting the healthy growth of children.
The school has well-experienced and qualified teachers who strive for the development of the students. We provide all facilities required for the academic and co-curricular excellence of the students. The school has a well-structured building with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, a well-equipped science lab, a computer lab, adequate sporting equipment and other basic facilities.
