Here, co-curricular activities and sports go hand in hand with academics. Music, dance, drama, painting, debate, and other art forms are encouraged, and our students actively participate in inter-school and intra-school competitions. Indoor and outdoor sporting materials are provided. Training is given in volleyball, throwball, chess, kho-kho and kabaddi. Special band-set training is also provided for the children.
One of our proudest students Janavi V Madhu bagged the Champion of the Champion award in International Yoga Champion Competition held at Mysuru.

About JSS English Medium School, Metagalli, Mysore
JSS Higher primary school at Metagalli is one of the pioneering institutions of JSS Mahavidyapeeta established in the garden city, of Mysuru. It was established in the year 1985 with the divine blessings and support of His Holiness Jagadguru Dr Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji and His Holiness Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.
Our school aims at the overall growth of a student by promoting total personality development rather than mere academic achievements. We inculcate social, spiritual, and ethical values within them and help them discover themselves.
The school has a well-stocked library with books related to curriculum and literature. It has a science laboratory, a computer lab, a reading room, and other basic facilities.
