Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language and is widely used in India. It is the first language of our country. It is the fourth most spoken language in the world. To encourage the students to enhance their knowledge about Hindi JSSMVP runs various Hindi Vidyalayas in Mysore and Bangalore. These institutions provide coaching for students who appear for various examinations conducted by South India Hindi Prachar Sabha, Chennai.
Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha is an organisation whose main goal is to improve Hindi literacy among the non-Hindi speaking people of South India. It was established in the year 1918 by our beloved Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The sole aim of the organization is to propagate Hindi in southern states. The headquarters are located at Thanikachalam Road, T. Nagar, Chennai.
The organization conducts examinations in Hindi. Exams like Parichaya, Prathamik, Madhyama, Rashtrabhasha, Praveshika, Rashtrabhasha Visharad, Rashtrabhasha Praveen, and Nishnath are conducted. In addition to this, they also conduct examinations in Hindi Typewriting (Lower, Higher & High Speed) and Shorthand in Hindi. The Central and State Governments recognize these exams. Examinations are conducted twice a year in February and August. Almost 4 Lakhs students write the Examination every year. JSS offers fullfledged coaching to the students who appear for these exams from Mysore and Bangalore regions.
