About Us
The JSS MVP started the Industrial Training Institute in Nanjangud to cater to the needs of rural people, in technical education. This Industrial Training Institute was established in the year 1981, offering Electrician and Fitter Trades. Electronic Mechanic and Technician in Water Technology & Health Sciences (TWT&HS) Trades were introduced in the year 1997 and 2003 respectively. In addition to this, several short-term skill development courses are also offered for unemployed youth (SC, ST, OBC & Women), under SKKY(DIC), MES, NIMSE, SGSY, RGCY, etc. Also, skill development training programmes are held for newly recruited employees of different industries.
Facilities
Sports:
There is a big playground in the backyard of the Industrial Training Institute. Facilities available to play include cricket, volleyball, ball badminton.
Laboratories:
Electrical machine Lab, Electrical wiring lab, Fitter workshop, Electronic–Mechanic Lab, Water Analysis lab & Electro technique lab.
Library:
The Centre has a good library with a sufficient number of books and subscribes to several technical, scientific and general magazines.
