Nijaguna’s Exposition of Spiritual Wisdom, is a free rendering in English of the last section of Kaivalya Paddhati(entitled jnana-pratipa danasthala). The translator, Sri Siddheswara Swamiji of Jnanayogasrama, Bijapur, has spared no pains in being faithful to the spirit of the original text, and in preserving in an alien language the flavor of directness and simplicity of the kannada narrative. It is obvious that he has spiritually attuned himself to Nijaguna and has drawn from him not only inspiration but guidance in a copious measure. There was great need that the thoughts of this great saint of Karnataka were made known to a wider audience; and this translation will go a long way in fulfilling this need.
