Kyathanahalli Siddalingaiah Samskritha Patashale and Free Hostel, Mysuru

His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, seated as the head of Sri Suttur Math at the age of 12. With the help of his predecessor Jagadguru Manthramaharshi Swamiji he took the responsibility of Sri Math and continued his primary education. During the time, Sri Kyathanahalli Siddalingaiah bought a building in the Vani Vilas Road, Mysuru and handed it over to Jagadguru Manthramaharshi Swamiji to run a Sanskrit Patashala. Later, he started a free hostel to help the underprivileged children who migrated to Mysuru from villages for studies. Today, the free hostel building is known as Main Building among the students and alumni.

The new building of KSS Patashala was inaugurated in 2023 by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi. The new building is also situated in Vani Vilasa Road.
