It is a part of the JSS educational institutions complex situated in the JSS campus. JSSTICE has been serving the brilliant and promising youngsters aspiring to join the senior-most civil services (IAS, IPS, IRS, KAS, etc.) of the Union of India and the state of Karnataka. So far, it has trained 2,300 candidates of whom nearly 300 have been successful, and they are serving the country and the state as officers of IAS, IPS IRS, KAS, etc. It draws its strength from a team of dedicated faculty who themselves are eminent teachers/bureaucrats/technocrats from leading universities, government services and industries. JSSTICE offers four modules of full-time training to candidates appearing for All India Services and Karnataka Civil Service Examinations who are selected through a process of Written Test and Individual Interview. Admission to the institute is highly competitive. Though more than a thousand applications are received each year, the intake is limited to 90 candidates for All India Services and another 90 for the State Civil Services examinations.
