Quiz Winners

To mark the occasion of 105th jayantyotsava of Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, Suttur Math had organised the online screening of animated movies – “Suttur Sri Matha Guru Paramapre” and “The heritage of Sri Suttur Math”, on Aug 29. More than 3500 spectators viewed the program.

The event was followed by a quiz competition designed for all age groups. Participants between the ages 6yrs to 83 yrs took part in the event. About 580 participants took part in Kannada quiz. A M Kushal, pursuing 9th std from JSS Public School bagged the first prize. K N Sarvesh Kumar, studying in 8th std, JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar was awarded second prize.
In the English quiz competition, 898 candidates participated. Smt. Saroja Ramaswamy, an 83 year old veteran from HSR layout, Bangalore won the first prize. Dr. Akshay, a faculty of JSS Medical College, Mysore bagged the second prize. Top five winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs.5000, Rs.4000, Rs.3000, Rs.2000, and Rs.1000 respectively.
